Nicole Borud was a contestant on Cycle 3 of ANTM.
Nicole Borud is a bisexual fashion model from Seattle, Washington, and was a former punk rocker before she auditioned for America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3. She is a graduate of Magic City Campus High School, where she was a member of the Art Club, the Latin Club, the French Club, the Drama Club and the National Honor Society. She is originally from North Dakota and only had $400 in her possession when she made the trip to Seattle.
For the ninth week of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3, the remaining girls, including Nicole, were flown to Tokyo in order to shoot a Japanese commercial for Campbell’s Soup. Although all the girls had a difficult time, most especially with learning their lines (which were in Japanese), it was Nicole whom the judges felt did not come through the commercial enough, thus making her the eight contestant to be sent home.
Some time after being eliminated from the show, Nicole decided to relocate to San Clemente, California. Nicole did not pursue modeling; instead, she has pursued acting.

I feel like the show didn’t represent her very well. I mean really, did Tyra and that Japanese person forget to evaluate her performance?

She just didn’t stand out. Earlier in her last episode the acting instructor forgot about her.

Засудили!! Мне она понравилась и запомнилась. Не понимаю, что в ней не понравилось судьям. Почему она им не запомнилась? Зрителям она понравилась…

I think she would be a better model because her photos are fantastic.

I agree the show didn’t represent her that well. And for Tyra to forget a girl, that’s just sad on her part. You chose her, and she made it where she is because they chose her to stay, but forgot about her. That just sucks and shows how poor attitude it was for Tyra to not remember her.

You can see her whenever you want, working the drive thru at Starbucks in Minot, ND.
Talking about natural beauty and talent gone to waste!
September 9, 2011 at 11:20 am
Does she actually live in Minot still?
I can’t say I’ve ever seen her around..then again I guess I haven’t really looked.

Betty,
Perhaps you could have taken a walk in her shoes through the various journeys of her life.
To blatenly assume that her beauty and talents are thrown and wasted is blasphemy.
You’re talking about a girl that has never been dramatic or materialistic and yet she is humble enough to come ‘home’ and be happy with what she has and who she is.
Modeling and reality TV certainly aren’t make-it-or-break-it deals for her. Just an adventure. It takes a large amount of guts to put yourself out there for the world to judge, and I think she handled it well.

I feel Nicole should have been in the final 3 with Eva and Amanda – not Yaya.

Nette,
You are so taking the comment the wrong way! I love her to death and I do think that it is a waste of talent/beauty to see her cut from a show where other without there are others without half of her NATURAL beauty have won! Maybe it was phrased the wrong way and for THAT, I’ll apologize but really CALM DOWN. I have nothing but love for Nicole and she’s knows it!
