Gina Choe was a contestant on Cycle 6 of ANTM.
When Gina became a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 6, she had gotten along with all of the girls except one, finalist Jade Cole. Gina was being constantly attacked by Jade, and the pressure of having to deal with the conflict led Gina to do badly, not just in the photo shoots, but also during a runway challenge, where they had to walk with cockroaches on their bodies. Her pictures from the fourth photo shoot made the judges frown, and ultimately, the judges decided to eliminate her because they felt that Gina lacked confidence and potential.
After appearing on the show, Gina has expressed that her passion for modeling is still very much alive, and she believes that her experience on the show taught her how to handle negativity, something that is constant in the fashion and entertainment industry. She also defended her “walk”, saying that she can easily strut in high heels, despite what was shown on television.
Gina has taken a few test shots, is currently in school, and lives in Florida. She is signed with Ford Models Miami under the Lifestyle division.

I think Gina should do more commercial modeling because she doesn’t seem to understand high fashion and she has a great smile.

Jade was right; she was too weak a person to handle anything, even though it doesn’t take a genius to be a model. She was a dim wit with no spine and an irritating personality. Glad she got the boot, and got some abuse before doing so haha.

Gina is lovely, real, and stoic. While she might have needed to come out of her shell a bit more in the program, not all people can toss away all insecurities in such a short, and artificial period of time. (the same goes for Jade). Plenty of “good” modelling depends on the environment and support-team chemistry. All of ANTM women have what it takes to be models. Individuality,and a dose of humility, are not bad characteristics to have in any industry.
