Gina Choe was a contestant on Cycle 6 of ANTM.

When Gina became a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 6, she had gotten along with all of the girls except one, finalist Jade Cole. Gina was being constantly attacked by Jade, and the pressure of having to deal with the conflict led Gina to do badly, not just in the photo shoots, but also during a runway challenge, where they had to walk with cockroaches on their bodies. Her pictures from the fourth photo shoot made the judges frown, and ultimately, the judges decided to eliminate her because they felt that Gina lacked confidence and potential.

After appearing on the show, Gina has expressed that her passion for modeling is still very much alive, and she believes that her experience on the show taught her how to handle negativity, something that is constant in the fashion and entertainment industry. She also defended her “walk”, saying that she can easily strut in high heels, despite what was shown on television.

Gina has taken a few test shots, is currently in school, and lives in Florida. She is signed with Ford Models Miami under the Lifestyle division.

What are the two pics underneath the Nokia photos, please?

  2. ford Says:

Love her cheekbones! Reminds me of Irina Pantaeva.

  3. Einez Says:

Nice to see she’s still modeling. :)

  4. Janna Says:

Stunner. What gorgeous cheek bones. Great jawline too. Strong while maintaining femininity.

  5. Liza Says:

Oh my gosh, such bad pictures. Too bad; I feel sorry for her, because she is sooo beautiful in person. Best of luck, Gina!

  6. Mary Says:

I keep thinking I see her on the earthlink log in page– http://www.earthlink.net– put your mouse over the purple “High Speed Access.” Is that her??

  7. Jerry Says:

I’ll always remember Gina for this clip on youtube.

  8. kiki Says:

I think Gina should do more commercial modeling because she doesn’t seem to understand high fashion and she has a great smile.

  9. kat Says:

i think she’ll look better if she just doesn’t let her mouth slightly open on photos…she needs either give a full smile or close her mouth

  10. Patricia Granados Says:

She was really beautiful, but wasn’t a good model. She has improved a lot since!

  11. caroline Says:

Jade was right; she was too weak a person to handle anything, even though it doesn’t take a genius to be a model. She was a dim wit with no spine and an irritating personality. Glad she got the boot, and got some abuse before doing so haha.

    • Jen Says:

Hey if you people dont have anything nice to say, dont say it. If you think modeling is so easy then go on that show and become the winner and shove it in my face. Until then I don’t believe you have the right to say that.

  12. Dave Says:

Dumbest most embarrassing bitch I’ve seen on the show.

  13. Mari Says:

Gina is lovely, real, and stoic. While she might have needed to come out of her shell a bit more in the program, not all people can toss away all insecurities in such a short, and artificial period of time. (the same goes for Jade). Plenty of “good” modelling depends on the environment and support-team chemistry. All of ANTM women have what it takes to be models. Individuality, and a dose of humility, are not bad characteristics to have in any industry.

  14. edo Says:

    Gina is awesome!

  15. Tamrhi Says:

She would have been great if she didn’t hold back so much!

  16. jon scot Says:

Wasn’t she in that Snoop Dog video, “Sexual Eruption”? Gina Choe is listed as one of the dancers. I think she didn’t have any problems “holding back”.

  17. Mary Says:

Am glad that Gina didn’t let Jade stop her from modling, keep up the good work Gina.

  18. Mary Says:

Gina keep up the good work.

  19. geraldo Says:

Gina’s very pretty with that strong cheekbones and that jawline she could be a sucessful high fashion asian model… but she is way too timid in the show and very weak but glad she’s still modelling!!!

A little late on this but while she was embarrassing to watch…you guys just don’t know what she went through. I’m 41 years old and I get foot in mouth disease all the time. And I’m a lawyer! I actually know a few girls who were on the earlier cycles and trust me, you have absolutely no idea how emotionally challenging and mentally draining the show is and what goes on behind the scenes – it’s especially difficult for younger girls. I met Gina a year ago through a friend’s friend and she is so very different from who you see on tv. It made me wonder how much editing is done with these types of shows. It’s turned into complete trash. She’s witty and humble and she’s been modeling with Ford, getting consistent work. She’s just not one to plaster her work all over Facebook. These photos don’t do her any justice. Got to see her actual book and it’s amazing.

  21. Jane Says:

Sad person full of self-hatred due to White racism

  22. Lilly R Says:

I loved Gina. I wished she had been stronger and not crumbled under the pressure and Jade’s comments. Sometimes I felt like shaking her and yelling at her that she should believe in her beauty and her stunning look. Some of her post ANTM photos look awesome, by the way!
Asian people are so beautiful – such a pity that there are hardly any Asian girls on ANTM >< (Cycle 14's Jennifer was one of my fav contestants ever <3)
