Ashley Black-Owen was a contestant on Cycle 5 of ANTM.
The then 22-year-old aspiring model from Fort Lauderdale, Florida was a successful boutique buyer in her hometown before her stint on America’s Next Top Model.
As a finalist on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 5, Ashley became known for her confidence and strong belief that she had what it took to become the next winner of the competition. When she auditioned for the show, she remarked that being “pretty” ran in her family, and that all of her relatives look like celebrities. Ironically, it was her beauty that compelled the judges to eliminate her from Cycle 5, making her the first girl to be sent home from the show. The judges felt that the only thing Ashley was banking on to win the competition was her appearance, and when it came to modeling and posing for photographs, she was dull and lacking the “IT” factor.
Ashley was clearly shocked when she found out that she was the first girl to be cut from the show, but after the season ended, she went on to model for Frantasy Salon and Las Olas Magazine. She is now an on air personality for 93 Rock.

I think she is gorgeous, but the pictures on here don’t do her justice. I hope that whatever she is doing in her life, she is happy and well.

Not sure the “pretty gene” she claims that is in her family helped out in the competition, too bad too, if she wouldn’t have had that arrogance she probably could have gone further.

And she was a little rude about helping other models and making fun of Kim, not that she shouldn’t be competetive of course.

She is doing very well, she actually lives down the street from me, she recently had a baby, we are good friends, and she is very fun to hang around with

She’s on the radio now. I listen to her a lot and shes pretty funny!
