Amanda Babin was a contestant on Cycle 7 of ANTM.
Before she joined America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 7 with Michelle, she was working as a sales associate at a local bookstore. She stands at 6 feet, and has always been eager to enter the fashion industry as a model.
Amanda initially tried out for America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 6, but was only accepted into the competition for the show’s seventh season. As a finalist, Amanda was often criticized by the judges for looking awkward on the runway and in her photographs, but Amanda did her best to overcome her weaknesses, and she was able to make it a bit further than her twin sister, Michelle. She gained a spot on the top four with Eugena Washington, Melrose Bickerstaff and CariDee English. Amanda was in the bottom two for two straight weeks before she was finally eliminated for posing stiffly and too awkwardly. She was the tenth contestant to be sent home.
Amanda, who had been represented by L.A Models prior to the show, has continued modeling. She appeared in Cycle 8 of Top Model, posing for photographs with contestant Brittany Hatch. She was featured in an editorial in the December 2006 issue of Seventeen. She has also recently modeled in Milan. She later appeared in episode one of Cycle 10. She is scheduled to appear in the upcoming thriller flick, From Within.

She looks TERRIBLE with short hair! But I did love Amanda on the show; too bad she hasn’t done more work. I wish her the best of luck in her career and in life.

Yea, I agree with the hair comment. It makes her look older to me… And she and her sister are both still working. They’re known as the “modeling twins”

I kinda like her even more than her sister Michelle anyway I find her as very high fashioned editorial than her sister, but the thing is Michelle attitude is a bit tomboyish than her. and she is more modelesque..

I swear she’s an extra in dawson’s creek as well. And the extra looks like amanda too – not michelle. Season 4, Episode 3 exactly one minute in. Check it out and see if you agree or tell me I’m wrong
