Brittany Brower interview with About.com

May 11, 2010

About.com interviewed Cycle 4’s Brittany Brower following her appearance on the show. The interview discusses her screaming match with Keenyah, her regrets and plans for the future. Here is the text from the article (written by Latoya West):

Interview With Brittany of America’s Next Top Model

Brittany, an elementary school instructional aide from Tallahassee, Fla, was the eleventh girl eliminated from America’s Next Top Model 4. Brittany will be remembered as the model who partied the hardest and brought the most fun to the show. Here’s what she had to say about her time on Top Model.

On Her Memorable Screaming Match With Best Friend Keenyah:
“Stress was really high. Someone could have borrowed a left sock at that point and I would have flipped… I watched it going ‘Ugh, why did we do that?’”

On Regrets:
“I don’t regret anything that I did on the show. Everytime I got a little out of hand, that’s just the way things happened. That’s just the way I deal with some situations. The only thing I regret is being so intimidated – as all of us were – when we went into panel. Why did I have to work myself up? I wish I didn’t take it so hard. I wish I had been a little bit more laid back…”

On Life After The Show:
“I chose not to go back (to my job as a teacher’s aide). I didn’t think I should be working with kids…On the show, I’m in like underwear for a Wonder Bra shoot, I’m being compared to a porn star… I didn’t think it was quite appropriate. But I love my kids and I will definitely go back to visit.”

On Who Should Win The Competition:
“Personally, I’m a little biased on that question because I love my homegirl Keenyah. She is an amazing, amazing person. She has that drive to her and she is fantastic…I have never seen a more beautiful face. She is breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. And her personality goes right along with everything about her.”

On How The Show Was Edited
“As far as me being crazy all of the time, that was a part of it. It wasn’t the way it was all the time. I’m not that nuts…I honestly got a long with all of the girls very well and I wish they had shown us all getting along in the house a little bit more. But that’s OK.”

More From Our Interview:

Brittany plans to move to New York to pursue her modeling career.

She would never sign up for another competition reality show “because of the nerves and the stress.”
